I first got an interest in growing orchids and caring for orchids when my mother, who loved gardening, constantly had problems and frustrations.

Being studious, I read many books and searched forums and blogs to find out how to help her.

Unfortunately my mother is no longer able to care for her beloved orchids but I continue to look after them so that she can enjoy their beauty.

I also realized that I had a lot to offer other orchid growers from my research on orchids and started off this small site that just keeps growing and growing.
